FUNERAL HOME BRANCH MANAGER – VAAL
ROLE PURPOSE
The Branch Manager is responsible for the full operational, financial, and service management of the Vaal Funeral Home. This role ensures that all funeral operations are conducted with professionalism, empathy, efficiency, and adherence to Covision’s service standards. The Branch Manager oversees staff, manages client families, ensures compliance with all legal and health regulations, and drives branch performance and reputation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
– Certificate/Diploma in Business Management or Operations
– Minimum 3 years operational management experience, preferably in funeral services or a similar industry
– Valid driver’s licence
– Strong leadership and people management experience
– Ability to work long hours, weekends, and after-hours (on standby)
– Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
– Ability to manage emotionally sensitive situations
– Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
– Funeral industry experience (mortuary operations, burial processes, chapel services)
– Health & Safety / Infection Control training
– Experience dealing with municipal and church structures
